How to Fix the missing media issue on WhatsApp for Android

WhatsApp for Android users are reportedly losing their media content after Android update to version 11 because update change the media path where WhatsApp store images, videos, gif, audio and stickers.

How to Fix it and recover media files:

1. Close WhatsApp and clear cache. Make sure the app is not running in the background.

2. Open file manager and go to WhatsApp. Then clic on Media.

3. Copy all content of Media folder to Android> Media> com.whatsapp> WhatsApp> Media.

4. Remember, you should only move the contents of the media folder and not the entire folder..

5. Wait until all content is moved. Once finished you can open WhatsApp.
